14 Lawrenceville - Lawrenceville, GA 30044## Overview Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level High School Category Warehouse ## Description Primary responsibilities include the management, supervision, and operation of the warehouse and ensure effective management of all warehouse activities. To ensure that the warehouse area is safe, clean, and organized. The key purpose is to provide a high-quality customer experience, operating in a safe, clean and well-organized environment
** Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
*** Assist the Warehouse Manager for an on-time finish each day.
* Responsible for assisting with all day-to-day operations and employee relations including staff supervision, employee relations, enforcing policies and procedures, disciplinary procedures, and employee recognition.
* Provide leadership of employees assigned to the warehouse
* Participates in cycle counting.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility.
* Wait on Will Call customers as needed
* Assist with proper training and mentoring of new temporary or permanent employees.
* Ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
* Responsible for submitting a written report by July 1st and December 1st regarding the performance, conduct, and behavior, as well as the teamwork observed for any employee supervised during those periods.
* Other duties as assigned.

** Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
*** Continual lifting, grasping, and using force with hands
* Must be able to lift an average of 25lbs on a continuous basis and occasionally up to 60lbs.
* Must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift. Must be able to twist and turn on a continual basis.
* Must be able to move from stationary position to bending, lifting, climbing, squatting, and reaching on a continual basis.
* Must be able to use computer keyboard and company software programs.
* May be noisy and hot/cold day through Friday. Additional and varied hours as needed.
* Employee will be responsible for operation and manipulation of cutting shears and other company tools.
* Must be able to operate the forklift, motorized pallet jacks and hand pallet jacks
* Rolling ladders and step stools and banding equipment. Wrapping machine (if supplied).## Qualifications
* High school diploma/GED required
* The ideal candidate will have at least three years supervision experience in a warehouse distribution center, preferably with a small staff and be a hands on, lead by example kind of person.
* Prior management or supervisory experience required.
* Must be forklift certified or have the ability to become certified
