Warehouse Associate, Distribution/ General Warehouse, Stocking, Forklift Operator
Job Purpose
The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.
Responsibilities- Verify, receive, and put away incoming stock
- Pull, pack, stage, and ship outgoing orders and transfers
- Assist customers with orders, as needed
- Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
- Operate handheld scanners to receive, move, and track inventory in and out of the facility
- Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and physical inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and company safety programs
- Participate in after‑hours training classes
- May be asked to participate in on‑call duties, as needed
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Maintain regular, punctual, and reliable physical attendance
Physical requirements:
stand; walk; sit; lay on the floor; use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Must lift or move up to 60 pounds. Work environments may range from 20°F to 105°F. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: 1 year forklift experience
- Preferred: 1 year warehouse experience
- Preferred: 1 year customer service experience
- Proficient in computer and inventory systems
0% travel that would require overnight stay.
