Position:
Auditor I within the State Agency Audit Division, located at 3020 N. Stiles Ave, Oklahoma City. The role involves auditing state government agencies to promote accountability and fiscal integrity. Daily commuting is required; telework is not permitted during the first year; minimal or no travel is required.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize accounting and auditing skills to audit state government agencies.
  • Conduct interviews with client personnel.
  • Evaluate internal controls and determine compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assess effectiveness of operations and procedures.
  • Perform specific audit procedures and prepare audit working papers for the final audit report.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, generally accepted auditing standards, and Government Auditing Standards.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and CAATs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong critical thinking, time‑management, and relationship‑building skills.
