Compensation
:
Starting pay $15.00/hr; after one-year trial may increase to $15.45/hr.

Desk clerks serve as public-facing customer service representatives in the park’s front office, lodge, or resort. They provide customers with requested information or assistance concerning services or direct requests to those who can provide the service.

• Answer telephones, take messages, and provide information about park and/or lodge facilities.
• Receive walk‑in and phone‑in reservation requests.
• Post charges to guest accounts, including necessary corrections and transfers.
• Collect charges, process credit card vouchers, and close guest accounts.
• Check in/out recreation equipment, golf carts, etc. to lodge guests.
• Assist with gift shop at front desk with sales and restocking merchandise.
• Prepare various reports under general direction.
• Prepare correspondence, monthly reports, and other documents using office equipment and software.
• Perform general housekeeping in public areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Two (2) years of experience in sales, public contact work, handling and processing mail, or general office clerical work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.

• Scheduled hours will require flexibility, including holidays, weekends, or events.
• All candidates tentatively selected for this position will be subject to a background check.
