Full-Time Lunch Type:1 Hour POSITION SUMMARY Provides comprehensive, patient-centered medical care including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute, chronic, and preventive health conditions for patients served by Red Berry Health System. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, culturally responsive care while supporting clinical quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides direct medical care to patients, including history and physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management of medical conditions within scope of training and credentialing.

Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests and clinical findings to determine appropriate medical interventions.

Performs specialty-specific diagnostic and therapeutic procedures consistent with training, licensure, and credentialing privileges.

Collaborates with nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, effective patient care.

Reviews complex or conflicting medical information and exercises independent clinical judgment to determine appropriate courses of treatment.

Provides consultation and clinical guidance to other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.

Participates in quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical performance initiatives to enhance healthcare delivery.

Contributes to teaching, mentorship, and professional development of clinical staff, students, and trainees as applicable.

Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.

Maintains compliance with applicable federal, state, tribal, and organizational policies and procedures.

Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES AND REPORTING Will Report to Clinic Director, CEO or Designee (Red Berry Health System), with day-to-day operational coordination through Vestra Tribal Care Management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school, or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school with required certification.

Licensure:

Current, active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.

Graduate Medical Training:

Successful completion of at least one (1) year of supervised clinical training (internship or first year of residency).Completion of an accredited residency program in the applicable specialty required.

Fellowship training preferred for specialty roles but not required.

Experience:

Clinical experience appropriate to the specialty and scope of services provided by the health system.

Board certification preferred but not required.

Knowledge and

Skills:

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Must successfully complete credentialing and privileging requirements.

Must successfully complete required background investigation and suitability review.

Position is subject to Public Law 101-630 due to potential contact with Indian children.

Must comply with employee health requirements, including immunizations, unless approved exemptions apply.

Must comply with Comanche Nation policies and procedures.
