Maker Space Coordinator
The Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering is looking for two students to work up to 10-13 hours per week. Duties will include, but are not limited to assisting students & professors with 3D printing, generating demonstrations for outreach events, teach students the basics of the slicing software, maintain a clean work environment, and maintain & replace materials (such as filament, resin, paper towels, isopropyl alcohol.)
This position is available to Engineering majors. The position offers a variety of responsibilities that will help a student to build a career portfolio to help with obtaining a full-time position upon graduation. Applicants must have good communication skills, prior knowledge of FDM Printers and SLA (Resin) printers, and prior knowledge of basic carpentry and equipment.
