Adjunct Instructor, Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages

We are seeking adjunct instructors for the Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages at Cameron University in Lawton and/or Duncan. Instructors will teach English composition/college writing, general education communication courses, foreign languages, and may also be asked to teach professional writing, creative writing, literature, journalism or public relations courses as needed.

Adjuncts holding this position may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester. Other duties as assigned.

• A Master’s degree relevant to the discipline of instruction
• OR, a Master’s degree in another discipline, with at least 12 graduate credit hours relevant to the discipline of instruction
• OR, at least 3 years of professional experience in the discipline equivalent to the achievement of academic credentials
• OR, for temporary qualification only, current enrollment in and progress toward a Master’s degree relevant to the discipline of instruction, with at least 9 graduate credit hours in the discipline already completed

• Master’s Degree in a relevant discipline and significant college teaching experience.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
