Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 6 months of vascular experience and RDCS/RVT credentials.
Responsibilities- Work in a vascular ultrasound department in a clinical setting
- Perform vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler studies
- Monday through Friday 8-hour day shifts
- One weekend call shift every 6 to 7 weeks
- No regular on-call requirements
- Operate imaging equipment and review images for diagnostic quality
- Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate findings to healthcare providers
- Alert physicians to urgent problems identified in imaging
- No more than 5 days of requested time off permitted
- Local candidates will be considered
- Minimum of 6 months vascular ultrasound experience required
- ARDMS certification with RDCS and RVT required (license required if applicable)
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Skill in vein mapping and peripheral venous/arterial Doppler procedures required
