Overview

Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center (JTCMHC) in Lawton, OK is recruiting for Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals to join our dedicated team. We have several vacancies across multiple departments, including Adult Outpatient and Children’s. What We’re Looking For
  • Licensed Behavioral Health Professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar credentials) with a commitment to providing excellent care.
  • Collaborative individuals ready to work across departments, including outpatient services, admissions, and children’s mental health.
  • Professionals with a strong desire to support individuals with mental health and substance abuse challenges.

Salary Range: FLSA Status:
Exempt

Remote and in-house positions available!

  • Contracted Rate: $48 - 54 per hour depending on time of day

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours. These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay when working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Licensed:
    Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field; must be licensed to practice in the state by one of the following boards:
    Psychology;
    Social Work (clinical specialty only);
    Professional Counselor;
    Marriage and Family Therapist;
    Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
  • Under Supervision:
    Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field; actively and regularly receiving board-approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if required by the board, to become licensed by one of the following boards:
    Psychology;
    Social Work (clinical specialty only);
    Professional Counselor;
    Marriage and Family Therapist;
    Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)

Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center focusing on mental health and substance abuse treatment. Inpatient and outpatient services include programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety-sensitive positions shall submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety-sensitive position is contingent upon a negative drug test result.

This agency requires coverage 24 hours, 7 days per week. Work hours and location may vary depending on business necessity. Employees may be required to work weekends and overtime.
