Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN in Oklahoma with recent pediatric psychiatric experience for day shifts and every other weekend.

Job Details

• Work in a behavioral health setting caring for patients with mental health conditions,

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 12 hours per shift,

• Requires working every other weekend,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Patient population includes children and adolescents,

Job Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required and must be current at time of consideration,

• Minimum 6 months of experience in child behavioral health,

• BLS certification from AHA required prior to start,

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age,

• Handle with Care certification preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, crisis intervention, and therapeutic communication,

• Monitor patient safety and well-being while maintaining accurate records,

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement treatment plans,

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and care,

• No limit on considering local candidates, but compensation may vary,

• Maximum of 5 days requested time off (RTO) allowed,
