HR Solutions Consultant - KS

AtWork is seeking an experienced HR Solutions Consultant to support clients across a range of industries. This is a client-facing role for an HR professional who enjoys solving workforce challenges, managing multiple projects, and delivering practical guidance.

The position is fully remote. Client travel is required, typically around 15% and up to 20%. Must be able to travel to Wichita and/or Tulsa for initial onboarding the first week and then once per quarter after that.

• Advise clients on HR matters, including recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, payroll administration, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement.
• Implement and administer HR solutions and willing to “ do” the work.
• Create and update handbooks, job descriptions, HR processes, and training materials.
• Manage several client projects at once, track time and deliverables, and communicate early about changing priorities or project scope.
• Partner with the Client Success Manager to review work, timelines, and project approvals.
• Identify opportunities to help existing clients and share qualified leads with the team.
• Deliver accurate, timely work while meeting client service and billable hour goals.

• At least five years of hands-on HR experience with a strong generalist background.
• Experience advising stakeholders and managing HR projects independently.
• Strong knowledge of core HR practices and employment compliance.
• Excellent writing, communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A bachelor’ s degree in HR, business, or a related field is preferred.
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or a higher HR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Trello, Quick Books Workforce, Canva, or Mailchimp is a plus.
