DEFINITION:
Maintains computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance.
EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent degree, although will consider applicable experience and certification in lieu of degree.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years of network administration experience in a large scale production environment preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Network Performance Tuning
- LAN knowledge, Network Design and Implementation
- Problem solving, strategic planning
- Multi-tasking
- Quality focus
- Coordination
- Technical understanding, quick study
- Demonstrated experience with system administration operations in compliance with government security requirements (HIPPAA).
- Experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Brocade Networks desired.
