Job Description

Expanding and well-developed food-production company is seeking an experienced and team‑oriented Refrigeration Technician to join their maintenance team.

Key responsibilities include:

the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of the production facility’s mechanical infrastructure, including ammonia‑based refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and boilers. • Troubleshoot and repair of ammonia based single and dual stage refrigeration systems
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical infrastructure systems
• Boiler, air compressor, HVAC, plumbing and freezers troubleshooting and repair
• Perform work in compliance with PSM, OSHA, EPA, IIAR requirements
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing systems related to facility production

• 3+ years’ experience as a refrigeration technician in a manufacturing environment (required) food production preferred
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing ammonia-based refrigeration systems (required)
• Technical degree/training certifications in refrigeration (preferred)
• Certification through Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians (RETA) or Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO) (Preferred)

$33.20 - $37.75 per hour depending on experience. Base is $30.45 - $35, + $2.75 shift differential. +$1 premium for weekend. Annual bonus. Relocation assistance.
