American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift role in a hospital setting with a focus on critical emergency care and 2 years of ER experience required.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Emergency Department
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Six weekend night shifts required over a 6-week period
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide initial assessment and rapid intervention for ER patients with varying levels of acuity
- Perform duties as one of the first responders for new emergency room admissions
- Must submit copies of all required licensure and certifications for consideration
- Recent traveler experience is preferred
- Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be approved
- Active Oklahoma or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Submission of recent work history and two supervisory references taken within the last two years
- Specialty-specific skills checklist current within one year
