Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 6 months Med/Surg RN experience required (adult medical-surgical)
- License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — state requirements apply (Oklahoma licensing or multistate compact where applicable)
- Clinical Skills: Patient assessment, care planning, prioritization, time management, medication administration, and interdisciplinary communication
- Availability: Ability to work consistent 12-hour night shifts for the full contract duration
- Provide safe, evidence-based bedside nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients as a Travel RN
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, and implement individualized care plans
- Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with physicians, ancillary staff, and the interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, self-care, and discharge planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the EHR
- Work cooperatively with nursing leadership and ancillary personnel to maintain professional standards of nursing practice
- Care for a broad patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics as required by the facility
