Requirements
  • Assess and develop individualized care plans by performing thorough head-to-toe assessments and regular reassessments
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately following the five medication rights
  • Provide age-specific care across the lifespan — pediatric through geriatric — with compassion and professionalism
  • Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, nursing assistants and ancillary staff to coordinate seamless patient care
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments and pain management plans, and evaluate learning outcomes
  • Document patient care accurately and timely to meet organizational and regulatory standards
  • Assist with procedures and use clinical judgment to revise plans of care based on patient responses
  • Participate in performance improvement, staff education and Magnet recognition activities to raise care standards
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program (required)
  • Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
  • BSN preferred but not required
  • Comfort with IV initiation, medication administration and clinical documentation
  • Ability to lift/transfer patients and perform physically demanding tasks as required
