DEFINITIONImplement and assist with nursing care for patients under supervision of Registered Nurse. Provides care to a geriatric population. Functions within the scope of practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
EDUCATIONAs required by the State Board of Nursing.
REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS (IF APPLICABLE)Current Basic Life Support.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSGraduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse program with current Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse license. Must have CPR certification.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience, school attendance record and performance record may be considered.
