As a CNA, you will work an 8‑hour shift providing residents with personal care, assisting the charge nurse, and delivering exceptional service as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner consistent with community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise supervising charge nurse of resident’s status at beginning and end of shift.
• Contribute knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Assist in implementing care plans within established policy and procedure.
• Observe and report on residents’ conditions, and document observations as required.
• Comply with procedures for safe lifting and/or safe transfer per established policies.
• Perform moderate to heavy lifting as required.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks to maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
