Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience required (strictly enforced)
• Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required
• BSN preferred
• Responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient‑family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services
• Act as patient advocate for all patient populations
• Maintain surgical standards of nursing practice
• Set priorities and organize workload effectively while managing multiple assignments
• Work with multilevel personnel and maintain strong communication skills
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of sterile technique
• Participate in and implement age‑specific care and interaction
• Collaborate with healthcare team including RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary disciplines
• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments on all patients including pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations
• Conduct reassessments as per policy
• Adequately assess and reassess pain using appropriate pain management techniques
• Develop and implement total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans
• Provide leadership while working cooperatively with nursing and patient team personnel
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in clinical setting
