Registered Nurse; RN Stepdown

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Stepdown Unit. As an RN in this intermediate care unit, you will provide nursing care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care, offering both critical monitoring and stabilization. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team in a high‑acuity environment.

• Provide patient care to those recovering from acute illness, surgery, or medical procedures, requiring close monitoring and advanced interventions.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients for any changes in their condition, including vital signs, lab results, and overall status.
• Collaborate with doctors, medical staff, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and discharge plans.
• Advocate for patient needs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the care process.
• Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State].
• Years of experience as an RN, preferably in a Stepdown or ICU setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
