About the Position
Nucleus Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses for 13‑week contract assignments at a world‑class academic health system in Oklahoma City, OK.
Departments we are hiring for- PCU

- Gross Pay: $2,300–$2,600 weekly
- Maximum non‑taxable stipend: $1,372
Travel requirement
:
Must have travel experience. Client will only interview candidates who reside 50 miles or more outside of Oklahoma City, OK.
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.

Essential Responsibilities- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders on assigned patients.
- Assist physician in the examination of patients and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatment.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observe the physiological manifestations of patients, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication as prescribed.
- Initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Deliver patient care competently.
- Interact with family and patient in sharing care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge.
- Inform patient and family of hospital procedures.
- Make referral regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- 1 year of experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Some computer skills.

EducationRequired:
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Preferred: BSN.
Required Certifications & Licensure- Current Oklahoma nursing license, or current multistate compact RN license.
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- NRP (American Heart Association)
- BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
- ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
- Minimum two (2) years bedside clinical experience (preferred).
- Current RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
