Description:
An ER nurse's primary responsibility is to identify medical issues. The nurse must determine the severity of conditions. Immediate support is provided to minimize negative long-term effects. In critical situations, efforts are made to sustain life. An ER nurse is one of the first responders when a patient is admitted. The role involves working six nights in six weeks.
