Travel Nurse RN OR – Operating Room

Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room and perioperative services.
• Act as patient advocate for all patient populations.
• Meet surgical standards of nursing practice.
• Set priorities, organize workload effectively, and manage changes in assignment.
• Integrate multiple assignments with multilevel personnel.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of sterile technique.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments on all patients, including pediatric, geriatric, and general populations.
• Conduct reassessments as per policy.
• Appropriately assess and reassess pain using suitable techniques.
• Participate in and implement age-specific care and interaction.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including RN, LPN, NA, physicians, and ancillary disciplines.
• Develop and implement total nursing care through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
• Provide leadership by working cooperatively with team members.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience (strictly enforced).
• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program with a current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience required.
• Ability to start within 5 weeks.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
