Job Overview

GHR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13‑week contract in the Cardiac Cath Lab in Lawton, Oklahoma. The position starts on 06/01/2026, requires 40 hours per week with 8‑hour day shifts, and includes on‑call coverage 7 days per month (non‑consecutive). This assignment offers a chance to work with a multidisciplinary cardiac and interventional radiology team delivering advanced cardiac and peripheral services.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience (cardiac cath, peripheral interventions, vascular access)
  • Active Oklahoma RN license or compact state license
  • BLS (AHA) required
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification required
  • ACLS (AHA) preferred
  • Recent travel nurse experience preferred
  • Current Cath Lab skills checklist within 1 year
  • Two supervisory references from the last two years
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide peri‑procedural nursing care in the Cath Lab and Radiology Vascular unit for cardiac and peripheral procedures
  • Monitor patients using advanced hemodynamic and imaging devices (Philips Laser System, IVUS, OCT, atherectomy systems)
  • Assist with left/right heart catheterization, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, pacemaker insertion, and AV graft procedures
  • Monitor and support LEXISCAN stress tests and other diagnostic procedures
  • Operate and support Siemens Artis Zee C-arm imaging and McKesson CPACS/Cardiology/Hemodynamic systems
  • Provide pre‑procedure and post‑procedure care, patient transport, and coordination with cardiologists and interventional radiologists
  • Participate in rotating on‑call coverage (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)
