Critical Care Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide essential care to seriously ill patients in a hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring vital signs, administering medications, performing complex procedures, and responding rapidly to medical emergencies. This role requires effective collaboration with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide critical care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and overall health.
• Administer medications and perform complex medical procedures.
• Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and manage treatment plans.
• Assist with patient holds in the Emergency Department as needed.
• Occasionally provide care to med-surge patients.

This position requires a night shift, from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with 36 hours guaranteed per week.

• Minimum of 5 years of ICU experience is required.
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications.
