Cardiac ICU Nurse
Provide specialized care to cardiac ICU patients, ensuring optimal recovery and stability. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered services during night shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill cardiac patients to identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments using advanced equipment such as Edward Life Science CCO, Tablo, Autocat II, and Impella.
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiovascular devices to support patient treatment plans.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatments and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid RN license with current certification.
- Demonstrate experience in critical care, specifically within a CVICU setting.
- Proficient in managing advanced cardiovascular equipment and technologies.
- Possess knowledge of ICU protocols, emergency procedures, and patient safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and self-schedule within the outlined shift requirements.
