Overview
Registered Nurse | Med Surg | Lawton, OK | Start 08/13/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $1,955–$1,963 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Supportive inpatient medical-surgical unit in a 14-bed setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Assignment facilitated by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 days per week (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Start date:
08/13/2026 - Unit setting: 14-bed Med-Surg unit with 1:5 patient ratio
- Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC
- Provide direct nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients on a 14-bed unit, with careful monitoring and timely responses to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed; perform point-of-care testing and routine procedures within scope
- Document care in the electronic health record; update care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; educate patients and families on Condition, treatments, and post-acute care needs
- Maintain patient safety, apply infection control practices, and adhere to unit protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in rounds and care coordination with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to support efficient patient flow
- Eligibility to work in the assigned inpatient Med-Surg unit on a 13-week travel contract
- Willingness and ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) on a 3x12 schedule
- Demonstrated ability to care for adult medical-surgical patients in a unit with 1:5 patient ratio
- Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
- Ability to complete credentialing and onboarding processes and comply with unit policies and safety standards
