Responsibilities:

Med Surg RNs provide bedside care for diverse patients, conducting individualized assessments to develop personalized care plans. They prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.

The role includes

• preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed medications
• initiating alternative actions in response to adverse symptoms
• changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs as needed.

Strong clinical assessment skills, proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy, and ability to respond promptly to patient changes. Must be detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
