Responsible for managing quality assurance activities for metal fabrication, including quality systems, inspections, audits, root-cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce defects, improve processes, and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.
KeyQualifications:
- 5+ years of Quality/QA experience in metal fabrication, structural steel, or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection, weld inspection, blueprints, and weld symbols.
- Experience with AWS welding standards and customer specifications.
- Skilled in root-cause analysis, CAPA, quality metrics, and ERP/QMS systems.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
