Eastern Sports Management - Lawton is currently accepting applications for Concessions Attendant. The Concessions Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, receiving and processing payments, serving food and beverage items in a timely manner, as well as preparing and cooking food in a timely manner according to menu standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate cash register and Point of Sale (POS) System
- Engage with members and guests to include greeting customers
- Provide excellent service, build rapport with guests and respond quickly to requests
- Build rapport with members and guests
- Upsell food and beverage items
- Serve food and beverage items in a timely manner
- Open, close, clean, and maintain concessions areas
- Organize, stock and control inventory
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed, required, or assigned by supervisory personnel (F&B Manager, Manager on Duty, etc.) and/or the General Manager.
- Display professionalism in appearance and interaction with guests
- Detail oriented and possess outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in difficult and stressful environments
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Minimum of one (1) year of cooking experience, preferably high volume; less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals in English
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages, as well as make change in US currency
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to de-escalate highly emotional situations and resolve situations to benefit the company and the guest
- Upon hire and training, the individual must be able to successfully utilize the facility Point of Sale software
- This individual must be 18 years of age if the facility sells alcoholic beverages
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
