Senior Ruminant Territory Sales Representative; Western KS – Garden

Senior Territory Representative — Key Responsibilities May Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Communicates about products meaningfully to each customer; customizes discussions based on customer needs.
• Primary point of contact for assigned customers; meets key personnel/decision makers to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, customer needs, and identifies business opportunities.
• Develops customer strategy (interactions/relationship, solutions, partner involvement, offerings) to create sales opportunities and grow Animal Health product and service accounts.
• Develops territory and account plans; partners with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners to drive sales growth.
• Collaborates across species teams to strengthen knowledge of the Animal Health product portfolio.
• Analyzes sales results monthly and manages expenses within budget.
• Identifies/selects programs and services to address customer needs and provide education/training.
• Works with leadership and Field Technical Services to develop and deliver offerings.
• Maintains understanding of Animal Health products, industry trends, competitors, business model, and influencer networks; shares insights to influence sales trends.
• Communicates customer/industry/product/market trends through the organization.
• Develops and meets learning and development objectives.

• High school diploma with 10+ years of sales experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of sales experience.

• 3 years of account management experience; experience within the Ruminant Industry.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication/presentation skills; adaptability.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and iPad.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Travel overnight and some weekend activity.

• Business development & planning; cattle/dairy knowledge;
  Animal Health industry experience.
• Working knowledge of animal technology/monitoring; distribution experience.
• Fluency in Spanish (preferred, not required).
