Field Services Technician - Overview

As a Field Services Technician, you will provide hands‑on field support across a variety of environmental remediation and hazardous waste projects. Working safely and conscientiously, you will deliver value to internal teams and external customers by completing project goals on site, on time, and to standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize health and safety at all times – adhering to company policies, processes, and safe work practices.
  • Prepare and transport necessary supplies, tools, and equipment to job sites.
  • Clean, scrape, and assist with the removal of underground chemical storage tanks.
  • Perform demolition labor at contaminated structures and land sites.
  • Operate excavation equipment, filter presses, and small hand tools.
  • Load, unload, and collect samples from drums; respond to emergency spills as required.
  • Decontaminate company equipment and tools after each use.
  • Complete required field documentation accurately and on time.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support team and organizational goals.
Education

High‑school diploma or equivalent (required).

Experience
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work in variable outdoor conditions.
  • Must be clean‑shaven at all times – the role requires proper respirator use due to potential exposure to hazardous atmospheres, waste, and materials.
Benefits & Compensation

Pay for this role starts at $17 per hour, depending on experience.
