Lin­eman C2 – electrical construction work maintaining poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities and equipment for electricity distribution. Build single‑phase energized facilities above 600 volts.

• Work on utility poles and fixtures on limited energized situations.
• Demonstrate proper cover application, handling energized single‑phase primary conductors and working around covered multi‑phase lines.
• Frame transformer banks, rotate three‑phase secondary/services, and troubleshoot transformers.
• Follow safety performance requirements.
• Introduction to tree trimming, multimeter operations, line‑test equipment, cut‑outs, reclosures, advanced rigging, line repair with rubber gloves, pole‑top equipment, regulators, oil circuit reclosers, line troubleshooting, and hot‑stick usage.
• Complete required company safety training.
• Perform administrative duties as required.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.

• Minimum 2½ years of experience in the electrical power‑line industry.
• All skills required for Lin­eman C1.
• Knowledge of basic electricity, IEP, proper PPE and installation processes.
• Pass competency evaluation before promotion and participation in the Apprenticeship Training Program.
• CDL strongly preferred; ability to acquire CDL permit within 60 days of hire.

• Lifting up to 50 lb, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, crouching and crawling.
• Work in the “red zone” of heavy equipment.
• Requires quick, accurate hand‑eye coordination and constant alertness.

• Pass pre‑employment, random and post‑accident drug screens.
• Provide valid US work authorization for E‑Verify.
• Pass background check.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Pre‑employment medical fit‑for‑duty test; obtain DOT medical card.
