Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Laborers/Carpenters in Lawton, OK. This role involves performing skilled carpentry and general labor for heavy civil infrastructure projects focused on water resources. Ideal candidates are experienced tradespeople capable of supporting concrete operations, demolition, and site maintenance within a demanding 6/10 work schedule.
Responsibilities:- Fabricate, set, and strip various concrete forming systems for heavy civil applications.
- Place, pour, repair, and finish concrete surfaces to project specifications.
- Perform demolition, hydro blasting, dewatering, and pump management activities.
- Manage and assist with operations related to concrete batch plants.
- Support other skilled craft workers on-site to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by performing general site labor and cleanup.
- Adhere to a rigorous schedule of six 10-hour shifts per week, including potential swing shifts.
- Utilize various hand and power tools associated with heavy civil construction and concrete work.
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Laborer on heavy civil construction projects.
- Proficiency in fabricating and setting concrete forms as well as concrete finishing.
- Experience with specialized labor tasks such as hydro blasting and dewatering.
- Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances for project site access.
- Ability to work a consistent 6/10 schedule and adapt to shift changes.
- Experience working with or around concrete batch plants is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move on uneven terrain for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Frequent use of hands and arms to reach, handle, and feel materials and tools.
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in restricted or open spaces.
- Comfort working at elevated heights as required by project demands.
- Capability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision capabilities including depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $76,752 to $ annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
