Job Summary

Position:
Administrative Specialist II. Hours per week: 40. Pay grade: N24. Salary: $35,500 starting point. Position is FLSA Non‑Exempt. Alternative work schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative, operational, and budget support to the Department of the Davis Administration and WSU Davis Campus. Oversee information desk operations and supervise hourly employees. Assist with planning and implementation of events, serve as liaison to faculty and other stakeholders, and correspond with university, community, and stakeholder members. Make appropriate referrals, track inventory, create spreadsheets, design and distribute marketing materials and maintain the campus website and department email and other records.

Serve on committees and complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years full‑time related secretarial / clerical or administrative support experience
  • Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree
  • Proficient communication and customer service skills
  • Budget and record keeping experience
  • PC applications experience (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft 365, Asana, Adobe, spreadsheets, website content management)
