Job Overview
Full‑Time Management Analyst (NH-0343-03) at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) – 75th Air Base Wing, Hill AFB, Layton, UT. Salary range $89,508–$138,370 yearly. Job open date 06/24/2026, close date 07/01/2026. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. This role is part of the installation manpower team, responsible for analyzing organizational structures and work processes to optimize mission effectiveness and resource utilization.

Responsibilities- Perform complex management studies and work measurement assessments.
- Lead and facilitate continuous process improvement (CPI) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) events across the wing.
- Provide program oversight and advisory services including strategic planning alignment, Unit Manpower Document (UMD) management, fiscal planning, and POM integration.
- Evaluate Manpower and Organizational Change Requests (MCR/OCR) and apply Air Force Manpower Standards to justify and streamline staffing levels.
- Ensure accurate justification and allocation of personnel resources in support of fiscal planning and POM cycles.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Obtain and maintain a Security clearance.
- Travel on military and commercial aircraft as required for temporary duty.
- Work extended or non‑standard duty hours as required.
- Maintain privacy of personal data in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974.
Skills and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of analytical and evaluative techniques for efficiency and effectiveness issues.
- Master knowledge of agency missions, functions, and organization; ability to evaluate organizational strategies and performance.
- Knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices related to logistics, acquisition, procurement, manufacturing, and other support areas.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with clarity and accuracy.
- Ability to lead and manage diverse teams to resolve complex problems and deploy lean concepts.
- Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, procedures, and policies.
