Hours per week: 2–3 hours per week, with one full 38‑hour week every six months (flexible up to 45 hours a few weeks per year; hourly employees may work a maximum of 59 hours within a pay period)
Months per year: 12
Hourly Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Job Summary / Basic FunctionThis position provides child care for spouses of military members while they attend a professional development class. You will work with young children ages 0–9, ensuring their safety and keeping them entertained while their parent attends class. Classes are four hours long and held one day a week, usually on Mondays. Responsibilities include planning and preparing activities for the children during this time.
The child care is conducted in a classroom at the Center for Continuing Education in Clearfield/Layton, where parents remain in the same building.
