Dental Assistant

Job Description includes (but not limited to) supporting the dentist during procedures, ensure patient comfort, and help maintain efficient daily operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and committed to excellent patient care.

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Patient Care
• Assist the dentist during procedures
• Take dental X-rays
• Record patient medical histories and treatment notes
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Manage infection control and OSHA compliance
• Assist with scheduling and front office duties as needed
• Help maintain inventory of dental supplies
• Assist with equipment upkeep & maintenance
• Staying current on procedure processes and protocol
• Help manage patient recare/retention
• Help Hygiene department with appointments as needed.
• Helping maintain a positive environment for co-workers and patients.

Compensation dependent on experience.
