About This RoleAs a General Surgeon, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you’ll diagnose and treat a broad range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, gastrointestinal disorders, thyroid and parathyroid issues, and breast health concerns. You’ll also play a vital role in coordinating pre‑ and post‑operative care to ensure seamless patient outcomes.
Our practice combines advanced minimally invasive techniques, such as laparoscopic and robotic surgery, with traditional surgical approaches.

What You’ll Bring- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS, ACLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

Life in Layton, UtahLayton is a community of approximately 77,300 people, located 15 miles south of Ogden and 28 miles north of the Salt Lake International airport. It is known as a great place to live for low crime, good school system and easy access to outdoor activities.
