Job SummaryHigh School Dual Enrollment (HSDE) is a program that allows high school students to earn college-level credits while completing their high school credentials. Concurrent enrollment courses are taught at the high schools, with students paying $5 per credit hour. This enables students to access college-level courses at a significantly reduced rate and earn a credential upon graduating high school.
Under the direction of the Director of High School Dual Enrollment, the Assistant Director serves as one of our stakeholders’ primary contacts to facilitate the program’s operational side. This individual works with high school administrators, teachers, district leaders, Weber State academic departments, the Registrar, and Admissions to ensure all stakeholders have what they need to offer the concurrent enrollment program in their high schools.
Responsibilities include streamlining processes, providing trainings, and assisting with events the department hosts. The Assistant Director will manage MyCE, Starfish, and Banner software to ensure proper tracking and program processes.
This role requires building strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. It spans multiple areas within Dual Enrollment and will help students be successful during their time as concurrent enrollment students at Weber State University.
Required QualificationsMaster’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of related professional experience.
Preferred QualificationsOne year of supervisory experience. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Experience building collaborative partnerships with a broad range of organizations (tech colleges, K-12, community). Demonstrated ability to work with computer-related applications used in enrollment services. Ability and willingness to become a skilled user of Ellucian Banner (INB and Self‑Service), Cat Tracks, Argos, and other technological tools used by the division and the University, demonstrated ability to provide quality training to others using these technologies.

Physical Requirements of this position:
Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.
Visual Acuity Requirements including color, depth perception and field of vision:
Required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
The conditions the worker will be subject to in this position:
None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
