Fourth Grade Teacher
Kimberly Lane Elementary School, Fourth Grade Teacher for the school year only. Job . Full-time equivalent: 1.0. One-year contract starting Fall 2026.
Compensation Range: $52,308–$123,452 (dependent on education and experience).
Position DescriptionCandidates selected to fill the role of a long-term reserve Elementary Teacher for Wayzata Public Schools will be given the responsibility of continuing our long-standing commitment to academic excellence. This will be done through the design and delivery of instruction that ensures the success of a diverse population of learners. In addition, teachers will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community.
Qualifications- Valid MN teaching license.
- Previous elementary-level teaching experience.
- Deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts, Math, and early literacy.
- Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies that support diverse learners.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to calmly and effectively deal with a variety of unexpected circumstances.
- Proficiency with current technology to support communication, academics, and student progress monitoring.
- Ability to produce, analyze and respond to relevant data about student learning.
