Join Snapology as an Instructor and turn STEM learning into an adventure! You'll lead engaging, hands-on programs that spark creativity, build teamwork, and sharpen problem-solving skills in kids ages 2–14 — using LEGO® bricks, robotics, coding, and other interactive tools to make Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math come alive.

You'll work closely with Snapology leadership as part of a collaborative, mission-driven team, and serve as the face of our brand for parents and children alike, bringing energy, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm to every session.

Responsibilities Role & Responsibilities:Lead and inspire groups of up to 24 students through hands-on, curriculum-guided STEM activities
Guide students in confidently using learning materials and equipment, fostering independence and discovery
Create a positive, structured classroom environment by establishing clear rules and procedures
Uphold Snapology's classroom management standards to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning space
Track individual student progress and adapt your teaching approach to help every child succeed
Come prepared for every session by reviewing curriculum materials, training videos, and/or attending hands-on training
Serve as a knowledgeable, friendly point of contact for parent questions about Snapology programs
Champion the Snapology experience by encouraging students and families to continue their learning journey in future programs
Stay sharp and connected by participating in ongoing training sessions and staff meetings
QualificationsQualifications:
Current Criminal and Child Clearances (required)
2+ years of experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or similar educational setting
Education degree or prior teaching experience preferred — candidates actively pursuing a degree in education are strongly encouraged to apply
A natural collaborator who builds positive, effective relationships with students, parents, and fellow team members
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with children and adults alike
A dependable, punctual team player who shows up ready to make an impact every day

After-School Classes (September – May)1–2 hours, Monday–Friday, between 2:30 PM–5:00 PM
Evening Classes1–2 hours, Monday–Friday, between 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
Offsite Events1–4 hours, anytime between 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
Weekend Workshops2–4 hours, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
Summer Camps (June – August)1.5–7 hours (typically ~3 hours/day), Monday–Friday, between 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Holiday, Spring Break & In-Service Day Camps1.5–7 hours (typically ~3 hours/day), Monday–Friday, between 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Birthday Parties2 hours, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
Special Events1–8 hours, scheduled anytime
