The Young Automotive Group is a leader in the Automotive Industry who also owns multiple event spaces in the Northern Utah area. We are a dynamic organization that thrives on creating memorable experiences through innovative events. Our Events Teams specialize in many events from community gatherings to large-scale productions, our team is passionate about bringing people together in meaningful ways. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Events Intern to join our team.

This paid internship offers hands‑on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events of various sizes.
The role is expected to run through October and provides a great opportunity to build practical skills in event management. You’ll work closely with our Events team, learning the ins and outs of event logistics, vendor management, marketing, and guest experience. Hours/

Schedule:

Open/Flexible availability, up to 40hrs per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist with event planning, logistics, and execution.
  • Support coordination with vendors, venues, and partners.
  • Help manage event timelines, budgets, and task lists.
  • Contribute creative ideas for event design, themes, and engagement.
  • Provide on-site support during events (set‑up, registration, guest assistance, tear‑down).
  • Assist with post‑event follow‑up, reporting, and feedback collection.
Qualifications
  • Current student or recent graduate in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field (not required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed for events.
  • Open/Flexible availability, up to 40hrs per week
