2026 Salary Range: $94,9331-$123,410 Yearly

In this position you will serve as a Firefighter/Paramedic assigned to a crew engaged in structural firefighting and rescue operations and assist in reducing and/or eliminating potential fire hazards to protect persons, property, or the environment and following protocols and providing advanced levels of life support.

• Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
• This is a designated Drug Testing Position
• Employee is required to be certified by the DoD Firefighter Certification System as Fire Officer I*, Fire Instructor I*, Fire Inspector I*, Firefighter II (includes Firefighter I), HAZMAT Awareness, HAZMAT Operations, and National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) – Paramedic (EMT-P) certification.
  * Must obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Must maintain current state or national Paramedic certification.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
• The employee is required to work a 72 hour week on a 48 hour on/72 hour off basis which includes weekends, and holidays. May be subject to recall.
• This position requires the employee to work under adverse environmental conditions and falls under the respiratory protection program and hearing conservation program.
• The work requires the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver's license is required.

• Knowledge of basic and specialized structural firefighting equipment (fire alarm system operation, fire extinguishing equipment operation, etc.), techniques, and procedures.
• Knowledge of Advanced Life Support techniques and protocols.
• Knowledge of basic and specialized building design, construction, and occupancy; and of safety requirements as outlined in applicable safety standards, regulations, and/or technical orders.
• Skill in operating communications equipment.
• Ability to maintain good working relations; to communicate orally and in writing; and to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Ability to apply Advanced Life Support techniques and protocols.
