In this position you will serve as a senior Human Resources Specialist performing duties of administering a variety of civilian personnel programs for the Civilian Personnel Flight (FSC). Provides a wide range of management advisory services regarding pre-employment, environmental differential pay/hazardous duty pay community outreach, special hiring authorities, Recruitment and Retention, Voluntary Early Retirement Authority, Voluntary Separation Incentive Pay and Reduction in Force.
Monitors an assigned segment of the activities as routinely assigned to the immediate office and within the Force Support Squadron (FSS) mission and functional responsibility.

Skills And Abilities
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of advanced federal human resources management (HRM) principles, concepts, practices, analytical methods, a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques, and relationships of various HR disciplines as well as seasoned consultative skill sufficient to resolve complex HR problems not susceptible to treatment by standard methods.
- Advanced knowledge of a wide range of federal Human Resources (HR) laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, directives, instructions, and concepts governing HR functions such as merit promotion, recruitment and placement, and other programs.
- Knowledge of organizational structures, missions, objectives, operating programs, key positions, and administrative/protocol policies and procedures.
- Advanced skill in advising management on controversial, complex, and sensitive Human Resource matters that could encompass a wide variety of Civilian Personnel programs.
- Advanced skill in conducting reviews and analyzing and assessing HR program operations to include identifying deficiencies; measuring compliance, consistency, and effectiveness; and making recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships.
