Human Resources Generalist

A stable, growing manufacturing leader is seeking an HR Generalist to join its team in Layton, Utah. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands‑on, supporting employees, and contributing to a positive, people‑focused workplace culture.

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to employees regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and HR‑related questions
• Maintain personnel files, training records, new hire paperwork, benefit enrollments, and terminations
• Track and manage absence records, workers’ compensation claims, FMLA, vacation requests, and time‑off documentation
• Assist with recruiting efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and talent assessments
• Coordinate employee events, safety training initiatives, and performance management support
• Perform HR administrative duties, including filing, data entry, payroll updates, and reporting
• Order and distribute uniforms and safety supplies
• Support HR projects and initiatives that contribute to company growth and employee engagement
• Maintain confidentiality while supporting a professional and positive workplace environment

• 4+ years of HR administrative or HR support experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Adaptable mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and employee support
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
