Primary PurposeThe primary purpose of this position is to serve as the center‑level OPR for Material Support Programs assigned to the center. This includes supporting all Supply Chain Managers (SCMs) and related supply‑chain functions.
Responsibilities- Support 748 SCMG FMS spares requirements, including processing requisitions for exchangeable repair, stock release, purchase request initiation for spares.
- Provide alternative sources of support to customers and process Supply Discrepancy Reports.
- Oversee FMS customer requirements and status from initial receipt of requisition through final shipment.
- Analyze program data, develop and manage support plans, coordinate with stakeholders, resolve issues, deliver timely, high‑quality program management products (reports, schedules, action items, briefings).
- Plan, organize, and oversee logistics operations – develop integrated goals, establish and revise policies, assess performance through metrics, allocate resources, implement organizational changes, ensure regulatory compliance, promote efficient, high‑quality mission support.
- Lead and execute special logistics projects – identify requirements, establish goals, conduct research and analysis, prepare detailed responses, resolve complex or ambiguous issues, recommend informed actions supporting organizational objectives.
- Represent the organization across installation and functional areas – build effective working relationships, engage key customers, assess satisfaction, resolve issues, ensure staff provide proper guidance, lead special projects through research, analysis, reporting, recommendations on complex issues affecting the organization.
