- Serve as a planner responsible for cradle‑to‑grave supply chain management and support to worldwide customers for an assigned complex/critical group of contract, inter‑service, organic and dual‑repaired items and sub‑components.
- Perform independent functions by completing planning, execution, and distribution of assigned items.
- Serve as project lead/manager conducting organizational and process‑related studies and analyses of organizations, functions, and work processes to improve mission effectiveness, resource allocation, and efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and oversee the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics‑management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
- Participate in special logistics‑related operation projects and initiatives and perform special assignments.
- Represent the organization with a variety of installation and functional‑area organizations.
- Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships.
- The 448 SCMW Centralized Requirements Cell provides centralized requirements determination and management within ESCAPE for the entire 448 SCMW, ensuring accurate and timely demand signals, enabling effective supply planning and optimized materiel availability for all supported units.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance (if applicable).
- No PCS expenses will be paid.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station approximately 5 days per year.
- May be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours.
- Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of the program and/or strategic sourcing.
- Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component, and ability to apply the knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
- Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices as related to the requirements for performance‑based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
- Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations related to organizational issues, with understanding and deployment of lean concepts in problem resolution.
- Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, and developing methods and operating procedures as required.
