Direct, develop, and implement logistics management operations for an organization involved in providing logistical support to a new program, fielded system, modification, or replacement program.

• Extensive knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques for identifying, considering, and resolving issues concerning efficiency and effectiveness of programs and/or strategic sourcing.
• Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component, and ability to apply that knowledge to evaluate current organizational strategies and performance.
• Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices related to performance‑based logistics, acquisition, supply maintenance, procurement procedures, manufacturing, strategic sourcing, and other support areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy, and maintain good working relations with all individuals and organizations.
• Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems or situations related to organizational issues, and to understand and deploy lean concepts in problem resolution.
• Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies, and in developing methods and operating procedures as required.
