Position Summary

Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members, following recipes and ensuring our rotisserie chicken is always warm and ready. We also properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to keep items fresh for members to take home. You may juggle several tasks quickly while helping members with bakery orders.

  • Maintaining clean shelves, temperature control, expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality food.
  • Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food.
  • Maintaining the sales floor according to company policies: handling claims, returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damage.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area.
Responsibilities
  • Be a Team Member: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business by working in other areas.
  • Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
  • Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area, modeling high‑quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
